National Industry Education Partnership

"Bringing Superior People Together"

The purpose of the National Industry Education Partnership is to facilitate, through solid communication, a clear mutual dialog between the country's best industrial leaders and the top leadership of premier academic and teaching communities.

The purpose of this system (the NIEP process) is to be an undeviating conduit between the CEO's of the country's best quality industry and the leadership of vanguard educational systems and institutions.

We believe in the axiom: much like gravity, significant success must begin and flow down from the top. We have chosen the ancient scientific tool, the mortar and pestle, as our symbol because it illustrates our ideal of bringing together diverse, superior people and encouraging them to form a quality mix that produces superior results for them and others.

Further, we believe that without clear, consistent, professional communication, significant mutual measurable success between the parties is folly.

Benefits To America's For-Profit Industries

1. You and your company will have the opportunity to network with other top quality industry leaders that manage and operate plants geographically located near you. You will get to know fellow CEO's (network) in your local community in a secure and properly controlled environment.

Membership is by invitation only. When we say top quality, that is not an overstatement.

2. The top officials of your company will have the opportunity to network with other top quality leaders on a national basis. This networking can be based on size, type, or a specific need your company may have. You make the choice. Get to know fellow CEO's from across the nation. Membership is by invitation only. When we say industry leaders, that is not an overstatement.

3. NIEP is proud to be a "for-profit" corporation, which understand the American Free Enterprise System and has empathy for those problems that inevitably arise between various government subdivisions, nonprofit companies, and "for-profit" industries and companies.

NIEP knows that all three are absolutely vital to the American Free Enterprise System.

We are aware that each group has a somewhat different agenda, and for that reason and others, feelings of distrust and disgust among group members can come from all sides, whether based on fact or unfounded misconceptions. All three of these groups have been known to have the wrong impression of the other's intentions, attributes and most of all, motives.

What is the Solution?

The solution is a direct, clear, diplomatic, mutually beneficial, and professionally-facilitated (controlled) communication in an appealing casual environment. This professional, yet informal system, (the NIEP process) is designed to benefit all who participate. The system will further allow the members of the consortium who actively participate to improve their ability to serve the taxpayers of Tennessee. Last, but by no means least, and of paramount significance, this system will lead directly to cutting the cost of Tennessee state government and of cutting the overhead cost of Tennessee's for-profit industries. This is the Tennessee's Three Star Objective.

4. You will have the opportunity to network with top educational leaders who are in the vanguard of innovation in your area and who have the facilities and staff to directly benefit you and your company. Get to know and network with the top academic and educational leaders in your local community in a secure, pleasant, professionally-controlled environment.

Membership is by invitation only. When we say educational leaders who are in the vanguard of innovation, that is not an overstatement.

5. Selected members will have the opportunity to network with leading national and regional academic and educational leaders. You will have the opportunity to get to know academic "movers and shakers" from across the region and nation, that is, those professional men and women who are in the vanguard of the new academic/marketplace communication revolution.

Membership is by invitation only. When we say ":movers and shakers," that is not an overstatement.

6. As a member of this select board you will have direct input into the curriculum taught at the Tennessee Technology Center in your immediate geographic area. That curriculum will be designed to train for your industry's specific needs: Need Centered Training through Workforce Development.

7. You will be in the vanguard of the very latest, cutting-edge industrial and educational communication. We will NOT be involved directly in Research and Development (R&D). We will, however, actually use, in the course of communicating with other NIEP groups and associates across the nation, state-of-the-art communications technical tools and methods. That is, we will use cutting-edge tools and techniques that already have a proven track record. In the board's use of tools and methods each CEO and member can make his or her own decision as to the potential value to his/her company now or in the future. This is a good time to repeat one of the cardinal rules of NIEP. It is called the NIEP MANDATE:

Special Note

This mandate is for your protection and the protection of all the other chosen board members. It may sound overly harsh or even to some as "overkill"; it is neither. it is simply another way of making sure the members have the secure, professional, comfortable meeting environment that leads to positive results for those members and the entities they represent.

8. You will have unlimited, immediate, and intimate access to national board meetings. (Board size is limited to a maximum of 18 CEO's.) The national CEN and CEB groups are made up of your peers nationwide. These meetings are held at various locations throughout the US and are designed with your specific needs and requests in mind. You and other members of the CEN and CEB boards help establish the agenda for these national meetings. This is an established and ongoing nationwide professional network with over 600 invitation-only CEO members.

9. Larger and more formal meetings and conferences are available to you with regional and national academic and skills training leaders. You will be able to attend conferences, seminars, and lectures that encourage networking between state and national "for profit" sectors of the marketplace, various government subdivisions and the "nonprofit" sector.

10. The overall cost of your industry's doing business in Tennessee should go down. Based on a minimum amount of success, your cost of training and the cost of teaching needed skills to your workers, plus the dissemination of other knowledge such as safety and security information, should continue to decrease.

*Please note that acceptance into this group is by written invitation only.
